With better than 60 percent of the wagering on the Green Bay Packers at +6, bookmakers made out especially well, even with the money line, which also had Green Bay seeing 60 percent of the action.
Sunday night’s AFC Championship game left the books most exposed with the New England -6 point spread seeing around 60 percent of the action but the money line for the Pats to win outright being wagered on at a 65 percent clip (albeit with less volume).
Atlanta beat Green Bay to capture only its second Conference Championship in franchise history and will play in its first Super Bowl since 1998.
It was a statement win for the Falcons, who stunned Green Bay at home by 23 points.
