The Rockies can be the surprise team in the National League this season and they have a real chance of returning to the playoffs, something that they haven't achieved since 2009.

It's a bold statement because they're in the same division as the Dodgers and Giants and it won't be easy for them, but their offseason moves and the talent that they already had is why they're in the conversation to compete.

Colorado's star players like Nolan Arenado are ready for the playoffs, why do we say this?, because this team led the National League in runs scored last season. The Rockies also have three Gold Glove winners there's no below-average defender.

Pitching will be the key to their success though, just like a pay per head software service is the key to taking your business to the next level. Jon Gray can be a No. 1 starter in the Majors, he proved it at times last season and Chad Bettis, Tyler Chatwood and Tyler Anderson are decent big league pitchers, giving them four quality starters, who will be backed up by a deep bullpen.

The Rockies can surprise team because of all their young players that haven't stopped improving, including shortstop Trevor Story and outfielder David Dahl. The team's farm system is in the top-10, so there's plenty of talent to either trade for help or wait to develop, like shortstop Brendan Rodgers and right-hander Riley Pint. Rodgers and Pint will be stars once they're ready for the majors but they're also valuable trade pieces that could help acquire another star and win now

Having Bud Black as the manager will do wonders for the Rockies. All they need is to stay healthy and have everyone play up to their potential and they can make some serious noise this season.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.

Tanner Bibee Player Prop Bets: Hits Allowed

Bibee was promoted to the major leagues at the start of last season and made a lot of noise in doing so.  In his debut versus the Colorado Rockies, Bibee became the first Cleveland pitcher ever to record at least five consecutive strikeouts in a Major League debut.
