With just one more week left in the 2016-2017 NFL regular season, Gambling911.com can now divulge which of the teams tormented the books the most.

Last year’s top NFL teams Against The Spread – Minnesota and Cincinnati – turned out to be duds in 2016, though the Vikings will still finish the season at .500 or quite possibly two games above that mark depending on how they perform in Week 17.

This year, the Patriots clearly put a stranglehold on the books with their 12-3 record Against The Spread (they won 13 games Straight Up).

Four other teams were still vying for the coveted 2nd place spot heading into Week 17 as each owned a 10-5 record Against The Spread.

These teams include Atlanta, Washington, Oakland and – shockingly – New Orleans.

Miami, Dallas and Tampa Bay each held a 9-6 record Against The Spread following Week 16 play while Pittsburgh could move to 10 covers or replicate these other teams records of 9-6 Christmas night against Baltimore.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
