Columbus Bookmakers Saved Even With Double OT Buckeyes Win

Gambling911.com is learning that 90 percent of bets on the Michigan vs. Ohio State game in the Columbus, Ohio area had been placed on the Buckeyes.

Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

The fans and bookies were both elated by the Buckeyes 30-27 double overtime win (but failed cover) against Michigan in what was possibly the most wagered on College Football game of the year.  Some bettors backing the Buckeyes on the money line also made out well.  Those wagering on the spread in the region had to be happy for their team despite their lost bet.

Ohio State had come into this game as a -6 favorite after opening at -7 with all indications that the bookies did have a strong opinion on Michigan being able to cover (a la the enticement to bet OSU with a line moving downwards).

With the Buckeyes 6-6 Against The Spread so far on the season, regional bookies are likely in the black as a result of the heavy volume on this particular game.

Columbus bookies would still be wise to utilize a profit-enhancing Pay Per Head outsourcing firm.
