Green Bay hosting Chicago
It’s pretty much a given that the Packers are going to be favorites over the Chicago Bears.
Historically, the most intense rivalry in NFL history, Packers vs Bears, hasn’t been all that intense in recent memory.
For good reason. In the first 13 games played between these two since 2010, Green Bay is 10-3 straight up.
The Packers should be favorites of between -7 and -9 points depending on what happens in Week 6. Green Bay beat Chicago by 8 points in the first game at Soldier Field.
But in the second game between these two, at Lambeau, the Bears upset the Packers 17 to 13. Money should even out for online bookies and per head agents in this rivalry battle in Week 7.
Cincinnati hosting Cleveland
The Cincinnati Bengals have gone 4-1 straight up in the last 5 games. Cincinnati beat Cleveland 31 to 10 in Game 1 last season. They beat the Browns 37 to 3 in Game 2 last season.
Cincinnati battles New England in Week 6 while Cleveland takes on Tennessee.
The Bengals are close to +9 dogs at Foxboro in Week 6. It’s Tom Brady’s second game back from the suspension.
Could New England rough up Cincinnati enough so that the Bengals are lower favorites than at least -8 against Cleveland? Maybe.
The key for bookies and pay per head football agents in this game is to keep tabs on any large wagers for either the Bengals or the Browns. Layoff as needed.
Atlanta hosting San Diego
Win or lose against Seattle in Week 6, the Falcons should be huge favorites over San Diego in Week 7.
The problem that online bookies could have in this game has to do with the Chargers ability to match up with Atlanta.
Although Atlanta will be the favorite, there is no reason to believe that they should cover, or even beat, the Chargers in this game.
Injuries aside, Atlanta has trouble with teams that can shut down the run and play zone defense. That’s San Diego. Bookies should watch for large moneyline wagers on the Falcons in this game.
