Stanford vs. UCLA Betting Line: Bookies Confident of Bruins Cover

September 24, 2016 – The Stanford vs. UCLA betting line opened The Cardinals -1.5 and quickly moved up to -3 where it remained all week.  By Saturday, bookies were trying to get more action coming in on Sanford with the line dropping to -2 during the course of the day.  The Cardinal were seeing 80 percent of the betting action at some of the recreational books that, at one point midweek, moved the line to Stanford -3.5.  All of this demonstrates a strong opinion on UCLA covering.  Bookies will want a strong showing by the Bruins especially after getting clobbered by FSU earlier in the day (at least as this was going to press), though they made out with Duke's upset outright win over a Notre Dame team getting nearly 100 percent of the money line action at -1300 and Wisconsin's upset over MSU.  UCLA enters this one 0-3 Against The Spread thus far. – Don Shapiro, Gambling911.com
