Michigan has come alive thanks in no small part to all the hype surrounding second-year head coach Jim Harbaugh.

CBS Detroit reports that the Wolverines have been named among the top 8 teams you will hate in 2016….unless of course you happen to live in a good chunk of Michigan.

Harbaugh, it is noted, has helped bring about the fan frenzy with a Twitter page that makes Donald Trump seem like a pansy.

Sports bettors weren’t exactly enamored with the two big state schools last season.

Bookies in the state as a whole managed to walk away relatively unscathed last season despite both the Wolverines and Spartans excelling.  Michigan was one game above the .500 mark Against The Spread while the Spartans (losing just two games outright) covered in just five.

Michigan has the sixth shortest odds to take the national title at 12-1.
