The complaint alleges that 45-year-old Donald Rick of Saxon, WI, stabbed to death 52-year-old Lisa Waldros while attempting to rob the Bear Trap Inn in Saxon in March.

Charges included homicide, armed burglary, arson and mutilation of a corpse.

KBJR-TV reports that Rick entered the Bear Trap after closing and ordered Waldros at knifepoint to open her purse. The bag contained $194. The complaint says there was a struggle and Rick stabbed Waldros in the throat.

Rick then allegedly got a gasoline container from his truck and set the bar on fire to make it appear as if Waldros had perished in the fire.

The criminal complaint was filed on Monday June 6 and Rick is slated to appear in Court on Monday June 13.
