There are a number of 2014 BC Classic contenders while a few of the entries we at Gambling911.com simply do not see standing a chance.  All odds are courtesy of BetPhoenix.ag which is offering an unprecedented 15% back on weekly lossesPLUS READ ABOUT THE SPECIAL THREE DAY ONLY 100% FREE CASH PROMOTIONAL OFFER FOR THE BREEDERS CUP AND HALLOWEEN BELOW.

The obvious Breeders Cup Classic contenders include the favorite Shared Belief, this year’s Kentucky Derby winner and California native California Chrome and Bayern.

Jockey Mike Smith will ride Shared Belief once again after a successful outing at the G1 Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita on Sept. 27 as part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge.  This horse ran an impressive six furlongs on Oct. 21 in 1:14 2/5 on Golden Gate Fields’ Tapeta racing surface.  You should be able to get him around 2-1 odds prior to Saturday’s race.

California Chrome is another of the obvious BC Classic contenders for this November 1 race.  The Art Sherman-trained three-year old won the first two legs of this year’s Triple Crown before finishing 4th at the Belmont Stakes.  Chrome has great value at 7/1, a result of his poor Pennsylvania Derby showing.

Bayern can’t be denied at 8/1 odds after winning three of his last four races.  This Breeders Cup Classic contender also has home track advantage being based out of Santa Anita.

Tonalist has yet to race on the West Coast.  He’s also never finished outside the top 3 in his four graded stakes races.  The Belmont Stakes winner is listed at 5/1 odds here, which is excellent value all things considered.

Zivo we’d prefer to see priced longer than 20/1 but at 14/1 odds he’s still one of our top five contenders.  Any horse that has enjoyed six straight wins deserves consideration Saturday. Zivo is the veteran of the pack.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
