Controversial – and some would say ingenious – Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has removed odds on which “Simpsons” character will be killed off at the start of Season 26.

The show's executive producer Al Jean has been hinting at the killing off of a primary "Simpsons" character, though few believe it will be one of the Simpsons themselves.

Krusty The Clown seems like the most likely option.

It was revealed that one of the upcoming season’s episodes will be entitled “A Clown in the Dumps”.

Paddy reacted by slashing Krusty’s odds from 14-1 to 3-1.

The bookmaker also suggested Sideshow Bob as favourite to kill Krusty with odds of 7/2.

It was not immediately clear why Paddy Power removed odds on “The Simpsons” or whether they would begin offering betting on the popular long running Fox animated series again.
