What Are the Odds of General A Rod Winning the Kentucky Derby?

The odds of General A Rod winning the Kentucky Derby heading into Saturday were 15-1 at AceSportsBook.com.

General A Rod starts at one of the best post positions (8) that has produced a total of eight winners since 1930.

He’ll be ridden by last year’s winning jockey Joel Rosario.

A stalker trained by Mike Maker, General A Rod suffered a 3rd place 1 1/2 lengths setback in the Florida Derby but has never had a truly bad race in any of the five he started in.

A number of experts believe General A Rod could have trouble with the distance in Saturday’s race and will require a slow pace.  Considering his recent record he might be best in a trifecta wager.
