For anyone looking to place a bet on the Best Animated Film at this year’s Oscars, you’re in for a mighty big disappointment as “Frozen” comes in as the -3291 favorite. In other words, it’s simply impossible to place a wager on. Bookmaker had all your Oscar 2014 odds here.
You would essentially have to place a $320 wager just to win $10, and who in their right mind is going to do that?
The Field option includes all other nominees and would pay out approximately $124 on a $10 bet.
“Frozen” is about a prophecy that traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
Great film indeed but a bad bet due to the outrageous odds.
