Odds to win Best Actor at the 2014 Oscars had Matthew McConaughey as a pretty big favorite at -500 for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club”.  Still, by Oscars standards, -500 is not necessarily a lock. BetOnline.com has all your latest Oscar betting odds with minimum wagers starting at just $5.

Leonardo DiCaprio was coming in at 5/1 odds for his role in “The Wolf of Wall Street”.  The payout here would be $50 for every $10 bet.  It is very rare for a nominee at 5/1 or longer odds to actually win, however.

Chiwetel Ejiofor had odds of 7/1 for his role in “12 Years a Slave”.

The other two Best Actor nominees really don’t have a shot:  Bruce Dern for “Nebraska” and Christian Bale for “American Hustle”, at 40/1 and 65/1 odds, respectively.
