Want to know where you can bet the Academy Awards online? This year, one of the better choices is BetOnline, however, some of the odds – as with most years Oscars – are PRICEY.
This year’s more betable categories include the following:
Best Actor with Matthew McConaughey as the big favorite. Still, at -625 odds, McConaughey is considered to have some value. You would be betting $62.50 to win $10 (with the $62.50 almost certain to be returned since McConaughey is considered a near “lock”). You can probably make an easy $20 with a wager of just over $120. Does it make sense? If you think a FREE $20 is worth it, then yes. You are gambling so understand there is a slight risk of losing that initial $120.
We at Gambling911.com say that “12 Years a Slave” is practically a shoe-in to win as Best Picture now. The odds have value, though pricey at -550. A $110 bet pays $20 (again the $110 is refunded assuming “12 Years a Slave” wins). Free $20 anyone?
