The Louisville vs. Cincinnati betting line had the Bearcats as a +3.5 home underdog against the Cardinals.  This promises to be a hot Thursday night game with these two teams having only a combined three losses. Louisville is currently ranked number 19 nationally.  Where the bookies are concerned, a win by either team won’t matter much as both are seeing balanced action.

Based on past trends, the +3.5 line does favor Cincinnati, a team that has dominated Louisville in 4 of the last 5 meetings these past few years.  They did lose on the road to the Cardinals by a field goal in overtime last season.  For comparison sake, the Bearcats were a +3.5 underdog in that game.  If Thursday’s game were to be played in Louisville, the Bearcats would be closer to an +8 point underdog.

The Cardinals are 12-3 Against The Spread in their last 15 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a Straight Up win.

That later stat really grabbed our attention as the Cardinals are 10-1 Straight Up on the season but just 4-7 Against The Spread.

The Bearcats are 9-4 Against The Spread in their last 13 home games.
