LAPT Champ Tavitian Leads EPT 10 Barcelona at End of Day 2

LAPT Chile champion Pablo Tavitian is leading the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event with 465,000 at the end of Day 2. There are 235 players remaining from the 697 who started at noon.

The 24-year-old student from Villa Carlo Paz in Argentina is used to big fields. The LAPT Chile event in March had 1,024 players generating a $1,024,000 prize pool and giving Tavitian $184,220 for his victory.

Tavitian will return tomorrow for day 3 of the €5,300 EPT10 Barcelona Main Event along with Team PokerStars Pros Tony Judet, Leo Fernandez, Victor Ramdin, and Christophe De Meulder plus Full Tilt Poker Ambassador & APPT Macau Champion Dermot Blain and EPT7 Barcelona Champion Kent Lundmark among others.

The EPT 10 Barcelona Main Event attracted a record 1,234 players from 64 countries, generating a €5,984,900 prize pool. The winner will take home €1,067,000 as well as a trophy and stunning watch from luxury Swiss brand Slyd, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT Season 10 Main Events and High Roller Events. 183 players will get paid.
