The Oakland A’s odds of winning the 2013 World Series were at 8-1 and the value here is fantastic at this time considering how well these Athletics are playing of late.

We were all over the A’s Tuesday night (June 18) to beat the Texas Rangers – and they did.  Oakland has taken full advantage of the Texans struggles overall to pull ahead of them in the AL West.

Brandon Moss and John Jaso homered off Yu Darvish and helped propel the Athletics to a 6-2 victory.

Jarrod Parker has been fantastic against the Texans during his career.  He was 3-1 lifetime vs. the Rangers with a 3.00 and a WHIP of 1.000 coming into this game.

Gambling911.com is also keeping a close eye on the red hot Baltimore Orioles who managed an improbable win over the Detroit Tigers Tuesday night.

We profiled their odds of winning the 2013 World Series earlier today.  Baltimore is just 2.5 games behind the Boston Red Sox even though they had their number last week, beating them 3-1 in that series. Oakland, meanwhile, has the 3rd best record in Major League Baseball right now and are up three games over Texas.
