Orb odds to win the 2013 Preakness Stakes were set at -110, which is pretty good value considering he won the Kentucky Derby and the competition on paper seems somewhat light.   The next closest favorite is Departing at near 4/1 odds at Bookmaker, which was offering up to $2500 in FREE CASH for joining here

Orb was seeing 27 percent of the betting action at Bookmaker.  Makes sense considering the Derby was his 5th straight win.  He finished 2 1/2 lengths ahead of Golden Soul to give Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey his first victory in the race.

There hasn’t been a Triple Crown winner since 1978 with Affirmed so the excitement is certainly in the air.
