Black Chip Poker is giving its players two major reasons to be hitting the tables in this month. Starting Sunday January 13th, Black Chip Poker will be hosting the 'Online Super Series II' (OSS II) tournament series in conjunction with their first ever $5k Points Race for micro stakes players. Both events will run consecutively from January 13th through to the 27th.
"We're giving our players great value and a chance to make some real money this month," commented spokesperson Robert Gray. "Our OSS II is our biggest tournament series to date with a range of games and buy-ins to suit every player. We're also giving our small stakes players the opportunity to bring home some big cash by participating in our $5k points race designed especially for them."
Black Chip Poker will be hosting their first OSS since their move onto the 'Winning Poker Network'. BCP players will be given the opportunity to play in guarantees never seen on the site before including $75k, $100k, and $150k no limit Texas Holdem tournaments leading up to the $200k Main Event. Overlays in the big guarantees are expected and players can qualify for entries for a fraction of the price by playing in satellites that are currently running.
Black Chip Poker is also introducing its first Progressive Points Race catered especially to small stakes poker. Players who sit down to play any stakes between $0.01/$0.02, $0.02/$0.05 and $0.05/$0.10 will automatically be placed on the leaderboard to compete for their share of the $5k prize pool. BCP will be rewarding points to each player who contributes in a pot in which a rake is collected. Points are calculated at a rate of rake x 1.25.
Micro stakes players can earn additional points by playing in OSS satellites while they are competing at the micro stakes tables. Every player who plays in the $0.55 OSS II satellites will earn an extra 25 points towards their total on the leaderboard. After the points race is completed in two week-time, the top finishers be awarded their share of the $5k. Cash will be dispersed in player's accounts within five days of the time the race is over.
