Miss USA 2012 Odds to Win

Carrie Stroup here and Miss USA 2012 odds to win have been posted with Miss Texas the 5/1 favorite, followed by Miss Rhode Island at 7/1 and four state contestants each with 10/1 odds including Miss Pennsylvania, Miss Alaska, Miss California and Miss Ohio.  Miss USA 2012 betting odds were available for wagering online here at Sportsbook (found under EXOTICS) where this Southern Belle has been placing bets for years.

All eyes will be on Miss Texas Britany Booker, even though as the favourite, 7 to 1 odds pay out nicely at $7 for every $1 bet and the competition is still deemed to be tight.

While there is not a whole lot of advantage when it comes to the Miss USA pageant in terms of specific state past performance, both Texas and Tennessee have produced two Miss USA title holders over the past decade, otherwise it’s a whole mishmash of states bringing us winners. 

There was a stretch, however, when Texas was akin to Venezuela, a nation that has turned the Miss Universe contest into something the likes of a sporting event.  For five consecutive years (1985 to 1989), each of the winners emerged from the Lone Star State.
