In March, Creative Cause enjoyed a 1st place finish at the San Felipe while finishing 2nd to I’ll Have Another at the Santa Anita Derby in early April.

The Santa Anita second place finish was a bit of a bummer considering Creative Cause was the favorite to win that race. Still, Harrington was pleased with his performance.

“I thought he ran great today,” trainer Mike Harrington said after the race.

Creative Cause finished 5^th at the Derby.
