Will there be a Triple Crown winner in 2012?  Sportsbook has posted some lofty 2012 Triple Crown winner betting odds, some of which pay out $20,000 on a $100 bet

A horse like Gemologist at 30/1 or Dullahan at 40/1 stands a chance of winning the Triple Crown while offering excellent payout odds.

Favorites Bodemeister and Union Rags would pay 16/1 and 10/1 odds, respectively.

It has been 34 years since a horse won the U.S Triple Crown (Affirmed in 1978).

That said, 11 horses have won the Triple Crown overall.
