The British Columbia Lottery Corp. is staying mum about the prospects of its spokesperson, the Vancouver Canucks Robero Luongo, being traded to another team.  Rumors are Luongo could end up in either Toronto or Tampa Bay.

BCLC confirmed Thursday that it signed Luongo to a two-year promotional deal in September of 2011 to promote its PlayNow.com poker site.  The goalie still has one more year on his deal but may not be playing in Vancouver.

We can’t speculate on what will happen with his position with the Vancouver Canucks and we haven’t had any recent conversations with him on his agreement with BCLC,” the corporation said in a statement to the Vancouver Sun on Thursday.

The BCLC also refused to disclose the financial details of its agreement with Luongo to the Sun.

Luongo himself is an avid online poker player.
