Dullahan odds to win the 2012 Kentucky Derby a little over a week prior to the big race were set at 9/1 at BetOnline.  These odds were subject to change so check the BetOnline site frequently here by clicking on FUTURES (at left of home page), then HORSES.

Dullahan’s upset first place finish at the Blue Grass has helped him become a true contender in the upcoming Derby.

He had a 2nd place finish at the Palm Beach-G3 last month.  Dullahan finished first back in October at the Breeders Futurity.

Dullahan made a late charge Saturday to beat out favorite Hansen by 1¼ lengths Saturday in the $750,000 Blue Grass Stake.

Louisville native Dale Romans said after the race about his Blue Grass Stakes winner: "This is the best chance by far that I've had," he said, "and I think he's the right horse."

Romans added, "He's just a tough horse and he's got that acceleration to get out of trouble and get through holes quickly."

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
