Paddy Power, Ireland’s largest bookmaker, is set to begin offering live in-progress betting on a new poker tournament series, iSeriesLive, next month (April 2012).
The €10,000 buy-in winner-take-all event will be held 5 April in Dublin with big name pros Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu already signed on.
Those placing bets will be able to see players hole cards and wager on such things as Player to Win the Next Hand and Next Player to be Eliminated.
“For poker to continue to grow, the game needs to become more immediate to our fans,” commented Hellmuth.
Poker Royalty, the agency that has both Negreanu and Hellmuth as their clients, is behind the iSeriesLive tournament.
Those residing in the US will not be able to participate in the live betting we are sorry to say.
