There were plenty of Super Bowl prop bets available in Las Vegas but more can be found online (go here to find hundreds of proposition wagers)

What you can’t bet in Las Vegas.

The time it takes to sing the National Anthem.  This is one of the most popular Super Bowl prop bets but, because the NFL can’t verify the actual timing, the Vegas books won’t be offering it.  For the record, Bookmaker.eu has this one at OVER/UNDER 1 minute 34 seconds with the UNDER paying $14 for every $10 bet while the OVER requires a $17 wager to win $10 (the $17 is refunded should this bet be a winner).

Cross sports wagers are being offered.

Some 350 prop bets were listed on the Vegas SuperBook as of Jan. 31, 2012, according to Fox News Las Vegas. Jay Kornegay of the LVH sportsbook told Fox that the wagers on prop bets constitutes half of the total business he does on the Super Bowl.   Kornegay has pointed out that the prop bet has to involve something that will happen on the field of play which will be officially recorded by the National Football League.

As such, the very popular Gatorade shower color bet is not available in Vegas.  It is online

Likewise, the color of Madonna’s hair, the television ratings and whether Kelly Clarkson will be wearing a jersey will not be available in Las Vegas.  They are available online

Bookmaker has been doing this since 1985 and are typically the first book to release a line on North American sports.
