NFL betting odds on the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game opened up at New England -3 and have since moved up to -4 at some places.  In Gambling911.com's opinion the Patriots should be a much bigger favorite.

New England after all is 9-1 in their last 10 in this series.  Another trend that really stands out for us is the fact that the Patriots are 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 games following a Straight Up loss.  The fact that New England is 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games shouldn't matter much here when we consider the Patriots have beaten the Bills by more than double digits in 7 of their 9 wins in this series.

Last week, Buffalo gained only 30 yards on 17 attempts against a New York defense that entered the game ranked fourth against the run, thanks in large part to behemoth nose tackle Kris Jenkins.

The Bills' longest run was a 7-yarder by Fred Jackson, who had 15 yards on seven carries. Lynch had a career-low 16 yards on nine attempts.

"We have to run the ball more effectively," coach Dick Jauron said in one of his classic understatements.

A win last week would've given the Patriots sole possession of first place in the AFC East with a 6-2 record and dropped the Colts to 3-5, dealing a serious blow to Indianapolis' playoff hopes. Instead we have a three-way tie atop the East between New England, Buffalo and the New York Jets, while the 4-4 Colts suddenly find themselves in the hunt for a wild-card berth down the stretch.

"We came up a couple plays short," coach Bill Belichick said. "They just did a little more than we did."

Gambling911.com will be all over the New England Patriots this week as a -3 ½ favorite.  Those odds could still be found at Bookmaker.com
