Spain Poker Players Dominate at EPT Barcelona 2011 With 79 Remaining

Five poker players from Spain sat among the top 10 ship leaders at the EPT Barcelona 2011. 

79 players still remained out of a pool of 811.

Raul Mestre of Spain led the pack during Tuesday afternoon’s play.  He held onto 850,000 chips. 

His biggest cashout to date was 8^th place at the PokerStars.com Prague Open EPT – Season 5 No Limit Hold’em.

Tomeu Gomila Romero, also of Spain, had the second biggest chip stack at 790,000. 

Up-and-coming Russian player Evgeny Zaytsev was also among the top 10.   He has won close to $200,000 in just over a year on the live poker circuit.   Zaytsev has a total of 12 cashes. 

Brazilian pro Andre Akkariwas also among the chip leaders and has won just shy of $1 million on the live circuit to date.
