King’s Bishop Betting Odds 2011

Uncle Mo is stealing all the thunder away from the Travers Stakes as part of an undercard race with King’s Bishop betting odds for him set just better than even:  13/8 (these odds are subject to vary).

Uncle Mo was the original favorite to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby before a virus forced him to sit that race out.

TwinSpires.com was offering betting odds on this race.  They are owned and operated by Churchill Downs and provide legal online horse betting to those living in the United States.  Be sure to claim your FREE $100 Signup Bonus.

Uncle Mo had some competition with Flashpoint at 3/1 odds and Calebs Posse hovering near 5/1, though odds at European books were closer to 4/1.

"I believe 90 percent of the owners probably would have retired (Uncle Mo) on May 1," owner Mike Repole said. "To get this horse to where he is … the odds were so stacked against him. I want to win both (races). But if Mo wins and Stay Thirsty runs second, I'd be happy because I would feel like I knew (Uncle Mo) would be this great 3-year-old."

Trainer Todd Pletcher still considers Uncle Mo his “big horse”.

“We have every reason to be confident in the horse,” Pletcher said. “When he’s right, he’s awfully good.”
