Horse racing betting odds for 17 August 2011 featured the Juddmonte International Stakes at York.  Other races will take place from Nottingham, Carlisle and Hereford.

Taking center stage at the Juddonte International Stakes will be Await The Dawn at 4/5 odds.

Aidan O'Brien has won two of the last three runnings of the Juddmonte International Stakes.

His son Joseph will ride Await The Dawn.

"I haven't ridden him in a race but I know him well at home," Joseph said of the 4-year-old who looked solid at the Huxley Stakes at Chester and the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot.

"He's a lovely, big horse and you'd say he was very uncomplicated.

"His form looks good from Ascot, so hopefully he will run well."

Await The Dawn was getting just over 32 percent of the betting action while Midday at 5/2 odds was getting even better action at 35 percent.  Twice Over was getting 20 percent.

Midday won 3 Group 1s in 2010 and took third consecutive Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last time.

A good to soft track was anticipated for this race.
