The 1m 0f Class 1 totepool Sovereign Stakes (Group 3) (3yo plus) featured Side Glance as the 3 to 1 favorite and this was one of the most wagered on horses on the day.  45 percent of the bets were going towards Side Glance.  Fanunalter was getting the second heaviest action at around 14 percent.  His odds were set at 5/1.

Premio Loco had the second shortest odds at many online racebooks but was getting only 9 percent of the overall action.

Fanunalter finished ahead of both the favorite Side Glance and Premio Loco in recent starts, however, neither of those two horses were in fine form during those particular races.

Here is the Sportinglife preview:

Connections of the more fancied horses will be hoping The Rectifier or Julienas set a proper pace. PREMIO LOCO didn't get that when behind Fanunalter and Mac Love at Epsom last time, but his previous third to Canford Cliffs in the Lockinge showed his true ability and Chris Wall's charge is given another chance here. Emerald Commander looks to head Godolphin's three-pronged challenge after his cosy win in Listed company at Pontefract, but bigger threats to the selection could come from Beacon Lodge and Side Glance, who were both placed in Group 2 races on their latest starts and look to have solid claims.
