License to Till was this late afternoon’s most wagered on horse with odds of 2/1.  He is set to run at Beverly in the 4.20 Handicap.  Nearly 50 percent of the betting action was coming in on License to Till by mid afternoon.

His odds were set at 2/1 across the board.

From Time Form:  “Resurgent in 2010, winning 3 times, and plenty to like about last 2 turf efforts at Doncaster and Newmarket. Better on AW but this represents a drop in grade and looks the one they all have to beat.”

Euston Square came in with 4/1 odds for the Beverly race.

Time Form notes that Euston Square hit new heights when attempting this type of trip for the first time at Ripon last month.

Fossgate, at 9/4 odds was a concern based on the shorter trip and rise in grade.

But Sporting Life notes:  “Fossgate has been in tremendous form all year and though all four of his victories have been over 1m4f he's still respected as he won very easily at Ripon last time.”

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
