Major League Baseball has decided it will not ban Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) from the league following allegations he participated in underground high stakes poker games.

A-Rod has been linked to games tied to an elaborate ponzi scheme.  Spiderman actor Toby Maguire has been sued by investors for his participation.

"Even if it is determined that he was [playing illegal poker], he will not be suspended at this time for this infraction," a source told the New York Post. "He will be warned again and not lightly."

Rodriguez was grilled last week by MLB Commissioner Bud Selig over his participation in the games.
Although MLB objects to the behavior, the league apparently does not feel that it is serious enough to suspend Rodriguez for any period, the Post reported.
