More Online Gambling Affiliate Programs Shut Down: Casino Blasters Latest Victim

The online gambling affiliate world continues to have rattled nerves as July quickly approaches and more affiliate programs shut down.

Much of the chaos comes following the April 15, 2011 indictments of the three largest US-facing online poker rooms by the US Justice Department, each charged with money laundering and bank fraud.

J. Todd of Perspectives Weekly spelled it out:  “This week’s online gambling news SUCKS.”

Actually things could be getting better with a bill to be introduced any day in the House that looks to legalize online poker.  Texas Congressman Joe Barton, a Republican, has managed to garner support from both sides of the aisle even from the industry’s most diehard opponents.

But the online gambling affiliate sector could still see significant fallout over the summer.

The chaos has not been helped by the fact that a popular eWallet solution used by gamblers and affiliates alike, Quicktender, has shut down after claiming its funds were seized by US authorities.

“At least when you got to their site there is not a big seal from the US Justice Department glaring at you,” Todd quipped.

Two online gambling affiliate programs disappearing from the APCW (the Association of Players, Casinos, and Webmasters) include long time stalwart Casino Blasters and Victory Poker.

US online gambling affiliates and those around the world are welcome to join the Uffiliates program.  Click on the banner.  Use GAMBLING911 to get best deals.
