With the Houston Texans decisive win over the lowly Cincinnati Bengals Sunday by a score of 35-6, this team now has a record of 3-4, although those four losses may seem a bit deceptive.
Aside from a Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh by a score of 38-7 and a 31-12 loss to the undefeated Tennessee Titans, Houston has played consistently well ever since. They managed to be on the losing side of a Jacksonville overtime game then lost in the final minutes against the Indianapolis Colts after dominating that team throughout. Following those two gaffes, Houston ended up on the winning side of things and may be at .500 by next week.
While it is doubtful they will catch up to the division and league leading Tennessee Titans, it is conceivable that Houston might end up in second place in the AFC South.
