2011 Heartland Poker Tour Satellites are now available online at UB.com with a chance to win seats at this fabulous event.

The Heartland Poker Tour is a series of poker tournaments played primarily in the upper Midwest, however, this year’s stops include Nevada, Colorado and Florida as well as Michigan, Oklahoma, Iowa and Indiana.

From Sunday, April 10th, the UB.com online poker room is running a weekly Super Satellite Single Package GTD that will award the winner with a $2,000 HPT VIP prize package. Each Sunday at 16:35 ET, players can buy-in directly for $200+15, or they can qualify for less by competing in any of the many satellite feeders for much less. Step tourney fans can also participate, with the $250+20 buy-in Step 8 events set to award a $2K HPT package, or they can make their way all the way from a Step 1 $0.11 buy-in tournament.

Crash through the competition to win a VIP HPT package, and not only does it secure you a $1,650 seat in a Season 7 HPT Main Event, but it covers hotel accommodation for two nights. UB.com continues to crank up the star factor, with HPT Super Satellite winners also enjoying meet-and-greets with pros, a chance to chill with them at a welcome dinner, and some crazy cool UB swag. Plus, winners can select the HPT Main Event that’s most convenient for them.

The HPT, having outgrown its humble grass-roots origins, now offers players a made-for-television tournament series that’s pulling home-game Joes out of their living rooms, and is proving equally enticing for serious poker pros keen to take a break from the regular Vegas-L.A. beat.Team UB pros confirmed to attend upcoming HPT events include Bryan Devonshire at this week’s Golden Gates Casino HPT event in Colorado, and Joe Sebok, who has thrown one of his many hats into the ring to play in the May 14th-15th HPT Main Event at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The Team UBpro will rep the brand and provide guest commentary for this particular hour-long episode of the HPT series.

Recent HPT Main Event winner Tom Hujda, a family man from Mokena, Illinois, banked a first place prize of $77,897 for his solid performance amongst a Main Event field of 184 at the Meskawi, Iowa HPT poker carnival.  Entering the Iowa tourney, Hujda hoped to win just enough to buy his two young kids a decent swing set. It’s safe to say that his kids will soon have the best backyard playground in the neighborhood.
