With PokerStars cutting off their eCheck processing platform in most states, the next viable options would seem to have been bank wires.  Unfortunately, as players are finding out, those, too, are not necessarily going through.

One individual on the Two Plus Two posting forum relayed:

“Yep, no problems with my bank in the past, but now I'm on day 5 of not even being moved to processing.”

Another player offered:

“Still pending after requesting wire on 1/23.”

The problem is not just confined to PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker is experiencing similar issues.

Together, the two poker networks are the biggest in the world, representing an average of 50,000 real cash players per week.

The problem stems from an ongoing federal investigation being conducted from the US Attorney’s Office out of Baltimore, Maryland into online poker payment processors.  PokerStars and Full Tilt had relied heavily on a processor which has decided to shut down and cooperate with law enforcement.
