The competition is getting serious at UB.com with the return of UBOC6, the leading online poker site’s Championship tournament series, January 16th through 30th, 2011. Players itching to get in the UBOC mood before then can check out any of the satellites for the many UBOC6 events already running, and there’s even plenty of opportunities to qualify early for UBOC6’s $1 Million GTD No Limit Hold ‘em Championship event.

With only a little over three weeks to go until the first cards are dealt in UBOC6, the time is right for players to get excited about earning their online Championship seats at a fraction of the cost.  There are at least five separate Multi Seat Satellites scheduled for players to parlay their way into the January 30th $1000+50 buy-in NLH Championship tourney for a much more modest $100+9, or check out the many satellite feeders for these starting as low as a tiny $3.

UBOC6 Main Event Multi Seat Satellites ($100+9 buy-in) will run as follows:

·       5  Seat GTD                  Sunday, January 2nd@ 18:00 ET

·       10 Seat GTD                  Sunday, January  9th@ 18:00 ET

·       20 Seat GTD                  Sunday, January 16th@ 18:00 ET

·       20 Seat GTD                  Sunday, January 23rd@ 18:00 ET

·       80 Seat GTD                  Sunday, January 30th@ 13:00 ET

Also making a welcome return at UB are two UBOC side competitions, the Single Event Satellite Challenge and the Multi-Satellite Winner Challenge . Both contests are up and running now, offering the ultimate test to those who are committed satellite enthusiasts.

UBOC’s Single Event Satellite Challenge requires players to snare as many seats as possible for any single UBOC event in this Challengeto pocket extra prizes. For example, a player who wins five satellites into the $1000+50 UBOC Championship Main Event receives one tournament entry and $4200 in Event Dollars.Plus, the top 3 players to win more entries than anyone else for that event will each receive ONE MORE BUY-IN in Tournament Dollars (“T$s”).

The Multi-Satellite Winner Challenge requires players to score multiple satellite entries into as many different UBOC events as possible. A player only needs to satellite into two events to win a $10K freeroll entry, three events to bank a seat at Wednesday’s Ecocard $10K GTD, and at least four events to secure a ticket into Saturday’s $10K GTD NLH Deepstack $60+6 buy-in tourney.  And all prizes are CUMULATIVE – win seats to at least four events and take down ALL THREE tournament entries.

So, players can get excited about the UBOC action now without delay. There’s already a big chunk of freeroll cash and T$s to be won, and plenty of UBOC6 Main Event tournament entries up for grabs at UB.
