With a top prize of $725,000, the 2010 NAPT Los Angeles had 171 of 701 players remaining.

Leading the pack was Team PokerStars Nicholas Grippo of the United States. Thomas Middleton of the United Kingdom followed in second place and Canadian Robert Acton was the 3rd biggest chip leader.

Grippo has won just over $209,000 in live tournament play over his career.  Middleton has won just over $14,000.  Acton is a relative unknown on the live poker circuit.

The next two chip leaders are big name pros.  Gavin Griffin has won just over $4.5 million in live poker tournament action, which includes winning $2.4 million at the 2007 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

The 5th biggest chip leader, Shannon Shorr, has won $3.4 million in live tournament play.
