South Carolina vs. Florida Line at 6.5: Little Movement Noted

The South Carolina vs. Florida line seems to have remained constant at Florida -6.5 at most online sportsbooks, though a few like BetED.com have moved down to -6.  Betting action is near 70 percent for Florida on the spread and even with the total 0f 51.5.

The Las Vegas Mirage had the line on this game at -6 as did the Punta Cana Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sportsbook.

The Scout’s Edge has the Gators winning and covering the current spread by 9 points.

The SEC East championship is on the line in this game, and the Gamecocks will come out inspired and put some pressure on the Gators. Look for Florida to weather the storm, though, and gain control behind its improved offense. If Brantley gets protection, he should be able to deliver some plays down the field, and when Garcia is forced to throw to keep up the Gators will capitalize on some ill-advised throws with turnovers that seal the deal and send them to the conference title game.

The amount of trends related to this game for betting purposes are limited, however, there is one very important trend that is really all any gambler needs to know.

The Gamecocks have won once in the series' last 19 meetings.
