Online poker traffic has risen 2.8 percent this week according to the traffic monitoring website PokerScout.com.  The increase coincided with this past weekend’s World Series of Poker final table.

PokerScout.com noted that the 2.8 percent rise was less than last year’s 5 percent increase during this same period.

Nine of the top 10 online poker rooms increased their traffic with the lone exception of Full Tilt Poker.

This marked the 19th straight week that the top four online poker sites in terms of overall “real cash” player traffic has remained unchanged.  During the morning hours of Wednesday (Eastern Standard Time) and evening in most of Europe, PartyPoker (3rd ranked) had only 250 more “real cash” players than iPoker (4th ranked)

Notable moves for the week included Entraction Network jumping ahead of Ongame.it, taking over 13th place. Everest Poker made it back into the top 20 as a result.
