Texas Tech vs. Kansas State betting odds opened at Texas Tech -7. That away favorite has been hovering between that number and -7 ½.

The early action was all on Texas Tech though at press time it was still too early to really get a feel for how lopsided the betting would be on this game.

Gambling911.com believes that the odds makers are right on the money here with this line. Our own line came out to between -7 and -7 ½.

Texas Tech was ranked number 9 by Gambling911.com coming into this week.

In this series, the home team has won 5 of 7 dating back to 1986 and Texas Tech is 5-2 ATS in the series as well. More recently, the Red Raiders have beaten Kansas State by more than 10 points.

The Red Raiders are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. They are, however, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

The Wildcats are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 home games, but are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Definitely a hard game to bet on even though this one was getting the most early action of the Saturday games, and all of it going Texas Tech's way. The odds makers line is very tight and doesn't allow for much wiggle room. We don't see it coming off -7 or -7 ½. Texas Tech is a hot team that has the advantage in recent head-to-heads with Kansas State, but 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record?

This game is too close to call for us. We won't be offering an opinion on it.
