While online poker traffic was up once again for the week of October 18, 2010, the percentage was a mere 0.3% according to PokerScout.com, a website that monitors “real cash” players.
Full Tilt Poker, the world’s second largest room, witnessed a 3 percent increase in traffic over the past week while five other rooms also saw week-over-week gains.
The big movers of the week included the Cereus Network and Microgaming Network, which jumped ahead of PokerStars.fr, taking the eighth and ninth spots respectively as PokerStars.fr fell to 10th. PartyPoker.fr dropped from 17th to 21st place, allowing Cake Poker Network, Everest Poker. International.it and iPoker.it to rise one notch apiece.
In the “Lame Department”, The World Poker Exchange, run by the struggling online sportsbook World Sports Exchange, averaged a mere 13 “real cash” players this past week. That number is actually up. – Ace King, Gambling911.com
