Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was a clear cut favorite to be the first NFL head coach fired early on the season. Then the Tennessee Titans pulled the tirgger on Brian Callahan. He paid $1000 for every $100 bet heading into the 2025 season.
McDaniel's days are likely numbered following an embarrassing loss to the Cleveland Browns.
BetOnline was expected to offer McDaniel as the next NFL head coach fired at 1-4 odds, and that could even be conservative.
Miami (1-6) outgained Cleveland 219-206, but managed just a pair of field goals from Riley Patterson. Tua Tagovailoa threw three interceptions for the second straight week and had a career-low passer rating of 24.1 as he completed 12 of 23 for 100 yards. He also fumbled three times, but didn’t lose it.
Quinn Ewers replaced Tagovailoa midway through the fourth quarter after the sixth-year quarterback had his sixth career three-pick game.
