Kalshi Down Part of Saturday Afternoon
The online prediction website Kalshi was down during the 3 pm ET hour and ahead of critical college football games. That outage continued through the 4 pm ET hour with thousands of anxious traders coming to the Gambling911.com website to find the latest. The site returned shortly after 4:30 pm ET but quickly went down again but was accessible thereafter for many. It was not immediately clear if the site was undergoing maintenance, dealing with an internal outage, or something far more nefarious.

It's easy to see just how big Kalshi has become in recent months.
Dozens of folks took to X (Twitter) complaining they were unable to trade.
"Wrong time for Kalashi to crash," one person tweeted.
The Ole Miss vs. Georgia game was among the most wagered on of the day.
In fact, Kalshi had this one as their most bet on of the college football slate Saturday.
Those coming to the site were greeted by a spinning circle around the Kalshi logo.
No word yet on what caused the site to crash for approximately two hours.

(Casino News) - Dealers Walk Off Job at This Caesars Casino - Employees at one of Indiana's top casinos have walked off the job and onto the picket line. The strike is taking place at the Horseshoe Casino in Indianapolis, a Caesars property. More than 200 table game dealers have walked off the job. Roughly 90% of the staff voted last week to authorize the strike, demanding that Caesars Entertainment, which owns the casino, recognize their push to unionize with Teamsters Local 135.
