Joey Chestnut once again comes into this year's Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest as the big -2000 favorite.
He's hard to bet because of it.
But if you want to get down on this year's annual event that kicks off at 12:00 pm EDT Saturday, there are still plenty of other betting opportunities at BetOnline.
These include the total number of hot dogs the winner eats and whether the record will be broken this year.
The most hot dogs ever eaten at the Nathan's contest is 76, a record Chestnut set in 2021, consuming 76 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. That record still stands entering the 2026 contest.
Chestnut has won the men's title 17 times, the most in the event's history. His championships came in 2007–2014, 2016–2023, and 2025. He missed the 2024 contest due to a sponsorship dispute, which Patrick Bertoletti won.
