MSU vs. Penn State Betting Preview

Michigan State has dominated Penn State over the last ten games, winning all but two.

Spartans Tyson Walker recorded 20 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 59-56 loss to Minnesota.

He was coming in with an Over/Under Wednesday of 16.5 points scored. His rebound number was set at 2.5 for this game.

RoboWire's analysis of Walker:

"Walker managed 20 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Spartans were taken down by Minnesota on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-1 senior has started in 22 games this season, averaging 19 points, 2.6 rebounds, three assists and two steals on 31.9 minutes per game. The two-way guard remains consistent for fantasy managers, reaching double figures in all 22 outings this season."

Adrian Baldwin Jr. had an Over/Under scoring total of 14.5 for this game.

Baldwin had 17 points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 39 minutes in Sunday's 68-63 loss to Northwestern.

His assist total was listed at 5.5 for this game.

Penn State, we would note, is among the worst rebounding teams in the nation.

The line we get from Ken Pomeroy is 4.63

Mark this one under "too close for comfort" where the line is concerned.  Michigan State really needs this game badly though or else they're in danger of being on the wrong side of the bubble heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
