Wednesday Game 2 @ Arizona Diamondbacks

Zac Gallen is 17-9 with a 3.47 ERA this season.   He is slated to start on Wednesday for the Diamondbacks.

The Brewers have gone up against Gallen a total of 70 times, hitting just 13 with one home run and 4 RBIs (.188).

Gallen allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings September 30 against the Astros.

The last three games Gallen has started against Milwaukee have stayed UNDER the current total of 7.5.

Freddy Peralta will start for Milwaukee.  He has limited appearances against Arizona (22) but has surrendered just two hits.

Freddy Peralta surrendered four runs in three innings facing off against the Marlins on September 24.  On September 18 he allowed just one run in six innings against the Cardinals.  He is capable of pitching into the 7th inning.

Milwaukee was coming in at -130 as the favorite.  The total was 7.5 with no book moving away from this number.

Arizona Diamondbacks recent trends have them scoring 3 or fewer runs in six of their last ten games overall.

Game 1

Tuesday's Brewers-Diamondbacks game was the only one to go OVER of the four Wildcard matchups.

Milwaukee gave up two runs in the 9th inning to go OVER after sitting on the 7 for four innings before that happened.
