Wednesday Game 2 vs. Milwaukee Brewers

Zac Gallen is 17-9 with a 3.47 ERA this season.   He is slated to start on Wednesday.

The Brewers have gone up against Gallen a total of 70 times, hitting just 13 with one home run and 4 RBIs (.188).

Gallen allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings September 30 against the Astros.

Diamondbacks Playoffs

Steve Gilbert of MLB.com writes of the Diamondbacks heading into the post season:

"The D-backs have two starters who can compare with any in the game in Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly, and when they are on, they can dominate a lineup. The back end of the bullpen was a weakness early in the season, but the D-backs corrected that at the Trade Deadline by picking up closer Paul Sewald. Kevin Ginkel has also turned into an outstanding setup man. Offensively, Arizona has tremendous team speed, which puts pressure on opposing defenses. When they get on, the D-backs run the bases aggressively and can manufacture runs with the best of them."

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
