The Wyoming-UNLV Game Friday Night Has Very Lopsided Betting Action, Including on Total

Betting action was about 94% on the UNLV Rebels and 80% on the OVER.  It's safe to say that hardly anyone was backing the Cowboys early on.

There was quite the effort to get action on Las Vegas Wednesday as the line moved from -5 down to -3.5 and back up to -5.5 by Thursday afternoon at Circa Sportsbook and Bovada as well.

UNLV is a good team with a 7-2 record Straight Up and an even better record Against The Spread, 8-1.

Sagarin gives us a line of 3.43.  That's the number the books all dropped to on Wednesday only to rebound back to 5 and 5.5.  That's giving us an overlay of 1.5 to 2 points. Overlays in this range from 3/3.5/4 tend to perform well for the underdogs at a near 80% clip.

And Wyoming is far from a bad team.  They've gone 6-3 SU and 5-3-1 ATS so far this season.  Head-to-head dating back to 2011, Wyoming is 5-1 versus the Rebels.

The total featured an early number of 51, down to 50.5, this despite 80% or more lopsided action on the OVER.  The one game UNLV won was in overtime by a single point.
